My Bloglovin' love list has grown tremendously and it has been a pleasure to watch some blogs grow but also a shame that others have dwindled off. 2015 has also been the year that saw me gravitate to youtube, start subscriptions, and begin to find some amazing talent on the site, these videos have inspired me to push myself creativity wise. So before the year ends, here are my reads and videos of the year that I've absolutely adored and took inspiration from - what are yours?

Favourite Photographers #10

I'm still bringing you more brilliant artists in yet another installment of my favourite photographers, this time we're going modern with 2 very strong (mainly) digital artists. These artists photograph completely different subject matter as one focuses on self portraiture and people the other on their travel adventures, proving that photography can produce so much variety.

Being Inspired #2

It's been a long time since I last did a Being Inspired post, my last was in August here. In these posts it's all about collecting a variety of inspirational images to get those creative juices flowing, I really have tried to find the artists names however I get a large majority of the lovely pictures included here are from Tumblr and more often than not original links get lost in all the reblogs. If anyone does have the artists associated with some of these images it would be a real help.

Saving Money In The Christmas Season

The time of spending all your money on loved ones has arrived, as I'm more of a gift giver it can get quite pricey. This year I have a very small bank balance to play with, so I need to make sure I work out what I can spend on my favourite people and any other Christmas trinkets. Plus I love wrapping presents so I need to save money for all the present trimmings too, even though they do get ripped to shreds. Here's how I've been saving money, what about you?

Finding your way in blogging can be a difficult time and there are so many niches out there that getting that space that makes you and your blog happy can be a long haul. That being said there has been some debate about whether a niche is needed to further your experience and gain a larger readership. What do you think, is it too much of a pigeon hole or is a specific area to write about your bread and butter?

Creating An Effective Portfolio

If you're any kind of creative you'll be aware of the importance of having a portfolio, a snapshot of your best bits and what you can offer to a potential client. Portfolios can also be used when you're applying for job, college or University applications you want to show your interviewers what you are capable of (even if it was a wonderful fluke - they don't have to know that). They come in all sizes for a range of purposes, here's how I've put my current one together, what about you?

Films To Improve Your Mood

Sometimes we all feel a bit low, sometimes a big, long cry is in order but mostly we just need a perk up. I like a variety of films so much so my pick-me-up list is just as diverse. Which films make you happier?

The Desktop Backgrounds II

It's the second edition of my desktop images series, my last post was in April (here) so I thought it was time for an up date. These images come from all sorts of genres of art but have been sourced from the wonder that is Tumblr. Where I can I'll try to find the artists of the images, however Tumblr has never been the best for keeping names and original artists. I must state these images are not mine.
